TERRY EMMERSON

President

Terry’s vision of Provincial Electrical Services became a reality in 2002.  With over 35 years of experience in the electrical trade, he has a solid reputation as an honest, hardworking and due-diligent businessman/electrician. This has earned him a name as a well-respected electrical contractor within the Electrical and Construction industries. As a member of the Electrical Contractors Association, Terry served on the executive of the Edmonton Chapter including a two-year term as President. Terry has also served on the Executive of the Provincial board for several years.

Terry is responsible for all aspects of the business, including business development, working in co-operation with the owners, prime contractors, and consultants.

When Terry isn’t working; he devotes his time to his family and friends. Besides traveling, golfing, boating and camping; his other past times include volunteering at charitable organizations.

ED KALWAJTYS

Project Manager

Having over 25 years of experience in the electrical field including Commercial, Light Industrial and Residential; Ed is well rounded in managing all aspects in the electrical construction of our projects. As a Project Manager Ed monitors our projects, manpower, material ordering and project package ordering.

Providing his experience in assisting project layouts to ensure our installation is done professionally, properly and safely while meeting all times and deadlines laid out by the Prime contractor’s schedules.

In his spare time Ed enjoys golfing and is also an avid fisherman; but most importantly Ed appreciates spending time with his family and friends.

RYAN LEONARD

Vice President

In 2001, Ryan became an electrical apprentice and fully immersed himself in the trade by working for one of the United Kingdom’s largest Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and Services companies.  After 12 years his last role being Mech/Elec site manager he moved to Canada.

In 2013, Ryan and his family relocated to Edmonton and joined Provincial Electrical Service’s growing team. One year later, Ryan’s knowledge, dedication to customer satisfaction, combined with his strong
leadership qualities; saw him join our management team as Project Manager and Estimator.
 
Ryan continues to demonstrate a passion for delivering projects to our clients on budget and on schedule, whether they are small tenant improvements or multi-million dollar construction projects

Ryan is currently taking courses working towards a professional designate as a Professional Electrical Contractor, His ability to work within a team, creating solutions when required, makes him a great addition on any project.

DAN MAXWELL

Estimator

With 21 years of experience in the trade, Dan began his career right out of high school. He quickly found his niche for the trade. With his acquired knowledge of the trade and his love of teaching, he soon began running small crews and was promoted to assistant site supervisor on larger projects, thus providing him experience in Industrial, Residential and Commercial Electrical.

With Dan’s past experience as a Site Foreman and on-site Project Manager, he moved into the office to further his career as an Estimator for Design Build and Tender Projects.

As many tradesmen aspire to, Dan loves to see his vision become a reality, striving to use new innovative products and solutions in his designs.

DAVID HUGHES

Health & Safety Manager

David has been Provincial Electrical since the beginning and has 15 years of experience in the electrical trade. David is responsible for Service requests in commercial, light industrial and residential. David also estimates and project manages some of our smaller projects.

David looks after our Safety Program and acts as our internal and external safety Auditor to ensure Provincial Electrical maintains its COR certification.

When not busy at work, David enjoys a good round of golf or a game of hockey. He also enjoys working with kids and in his spare time coaches’ minor hockey.
